The search for a better grip on the future is, in fact, something we are all looking for. One thing is certain! The uncertainty will remain for the time being.
What is also certain is that entrepreneurs, managers, supervisors, and employees continue to be confronted with increasing stress. Stress in both their private lives and within the work environment. Different types of contact with colleagues due to working from home.
Partners and children who are also working from home. And what about any family members, acquaintances, friends, or colleagues who have been affected by the Coronavirus? Stress!
Business stressors; what happens to revenue, margin, turnover, and especially absenteeism? Can I count on support from the government, or am I out of luck?
What helps in these uncertain times is to work daily on creating and maintaining peace and space between the ears! We think we can relax well, but if you are worrying during your daily walk, you are not relaxing enough.
If the 'merry-go-round' between the ears is continuously running at full speed, it uses up a lot of energy. Our common sense understands this, but the question is whether we also know how to stop that 'merry-go-round'?
Accepting things as they are and not approving of them will help create peace and space so that your battery does not run out completely.
This, combined with real daily relaxation, ensures that there is peace and space to come up with new initiatives that give energy instead of costing energy.
Only then will you continue to gain insights into how you can overcome this period together!
It also helps to gain insight into how human behavior works and that, especially in these times, our motive for 'security' is heavily stimulated. Our behavior is determined for the most part by our subconscious, and that is where the motives reside that determine our behavior.
People say that 90% of behavior is unconscious!
The remaining 10% is conscious behavior, and within that lie the reasons why we do things. We are probably not even aware of our unconscious behavior!
Do you ever ask yourself why you do or feel certain things? The answer lies in our subconscious, and subsequently, a reason emerges as to why we took action.
People need recognition, profit, convenience and security, and not to forget, they also have needs for safety, curiosity and contact with others.
It is therefore very human to experience those various motives 'flaring up' in these uncertain times. Simply letting the feelings and stimuli wash over you causes much less stress than constantly resisting them!
- Create peace and space between the ears.
- Learn to really relax.
- Understand human behavior.
You will get through this period of uncertainty much more easily by being more conscious about creating peace and space between your ears!
To have real relaxation by working daily on physical and mental condition.
Accept human behavior as it is!

Uncertainty and dealing with objections
Objections are not rejections, but opportunities. When a customer raises an objection, they indicate that they are considering your proposal. That is positive.
The key is to take the objection seriously by asking about the underlying reason and then responding in a targeted manner. Not by dismissing the objection, but by showing that you understand what is on the customer's mind.
An effective technique is acknowledging the objection before responding. “I understand that the investment is substantial” works better than immediately going on the defensive.
By showing acknowledgment, the customer feels heard and is more open to your perspective. Next, you can demonstrate the return on investment using concrete examples and calculations.
