Get more out of yourself starts with insight
Development begins when you understand which beliefs, habits and patterns accelerate or slow down your development."
About Thea van Grinsven
Sales, Communication, and Management Trainer
Thea van Grinsven worked in the financial world for more than thirty years. She started as an advisor, led teams, held management positions, and eventually worked as a business manager under the Executive Board of ABN AMRO. During those years, she focused daily on commercial results, organizational development, and the guidance of employees and executives.
That experience forms the basis of her work as a trainer. Thea asks incisive questions, quickly makes connections, and reduces complex issues to their core. Participants appreciate her direct style, genuine interest, and her ability to quickly identify what requires attention.
As a result, conversations emerge that go beyond the daily practice of the moment. People dare to make choices and take steps that previously seemed out of reach.
If you understand why you do something, you can also choose to do it differently.
From insight to changed behavior
Development begins where people are willing to look at themselves.
What makes an account manager hesitate to ask further questions? Why does letting go feel like a risk to a manager? Why does someone continue to take responsibility that actually belongs to someone else?
Thea helps participants understand why such patterns are so persistent. She shows how beliefs influence choices, how resistance arises, and why people under pressure often fall back on behavior that limits them. She translates these insights into situations from the daily practice of sales, leadership, and collaboration.
As a result, participants develop the ability to make different choices at moments that determine their outcome. In this way, personal effectiveness grows precisely where organizations notice it: in customer conversations, when managing employees, during decision-making, and in taking ownership in daily work.
