About Armin Hietbrink

Sales, Communication, and Management Trainer

Armin Hietbrink has been working as a trainer at Kenneth Smit since 2009. Prior to that, Armin gained experience in sales, management, and software development. In all those roles, one question remained central: what makes people do what they do?

That curiosity still forms the basis of Armin's work. Functions, targets, and roles tell part of the story. The person behind them tells the rest. What drives someone? Which beliefs and habits guide daily actions? And what possibilities arise when someone gains conscious insight into this?

From a better understanding of yourself comes clarity regarding the choices that align with who you are and what you want to achieve. In this way, development takes on a personal character, and new behavior becomes something that originates from within. This conviction runs like a common thread through Armin's training sessions.

I want to help at least one person take a step forward every day.

Are you asking the right questions?

Most of the profit lies in the question that has not yet been asked.

Armin teaches participants to look more closely at their own behavior and conduct conversations more consciously. Salespeople discover how to steer a conversation and how strong questions create space for the customer to clearly articulate their situation, needs, and ambitions. Managers experience how targeted questions help employees think for themselves, take responsibility, and come up with solutions.

Using models and Insights Discovery, among other tools, Armin provides a clear picture of motivations, behavior, and competencies. Participants then practice with situations from their own professional lives. They learn to recognize what happens in a conversation, understand the underlying dynamics, and develop a style that suits them.

Participants gain insight into how people make decisions, how trust grows, and how to naturally draw others into a conversation. These insights are immediately applicable to sales conversations, leadership, and daily collaboration.
